How exciting! A new documentary about celebrated artist Andy Goldsworthy comes from the same filmmaker, Thomas Reidelsheimer, who made the phenomenal Rivers and Tides sixteen year ago. This vibrant journey captures the ephemeral works and performance artistry of the British artist, now assisted by his daughter, across the globe, finding inspiration in Gabon, Brazil, Spain, France, New Hampshire, San Francisco and of course, his home in Dumfreisshire, Scotland. Some works will disappear in a short time, as when he painstakingly plasters his hands with red leaves, only to wash them away in seconds in a waterfall, while others will remain long after our children, as with his amazing, unconventional stone walls.
