Fascinating, unexpectedly funny, and fully entertaining, this is the unbelievably true story of four well-off college students who brazenly attempt to execute an audacious art heist to make their lives more extraordinary. Using old heist movies, like The Italian Job, Ocean's Eleven, The Asphalt Jungle and Reservoir Dogs as their template, these four young men in 2004 decide to steal several rare and valuable books from their small Kentucky college library, as they are only guarded by one little old lady. Documentary filmmaker Bart Layton (The Imposter) making his dramatic feature debut expertly blends fact and fiction, using the actual perpetrators, recently released from jail, and other participants as narrators. These boys believe they have planned the perfect robbery, only to have the actual day go quite differently, with the plan taking on a life of its own.
